For work that doesn't fit a package

Custom Proposals

Some projects need a different shape. For those, I write a proposal around your plan, your team, and your calendar, and the scope and price come from the project, not a menu.

What tends to need one

A marketing plan that exists but isn't running, because every approval still lands on one overloaded person. A fractional marketing director for a defined season. A plan review with ranked changes and the reasoning behind them. Strategy paired with content production, so the work actually gets made and posted. A launch or a season with a date that won't move.

If it's strategy, planning, or a team that needs direction, it's worth a conversation.

How a proposal comes together

01

A conversation.

We talk through what you're trying to solve, who's on your team, what's already been tried, and the dates that matter. If I'm not the right fit, I'll tell you on the call.

02

A written proposal.

What we're solving, what the engagement includes, how a normal week runs, the investment, and the next steps. Usually more than one option built on the same base, with my recommendation and an honest note on what each option leaves on your plate.

03

We start.

You pick the option that fits, sign a one-page agreement, and pay the first month. The work starts that same week.

How I structure custom work

You should be able to look at any month and say whether it was worth it.

Too many organizations have paid a large fee up front and received very little for it. Every proposal I write is built the other way around.

  • No large upfront fee. Month one is billed at the same rate as every month after it.
  • A month-to-month out after the first ninety days.
  • Travel and expenses billed at cost, with receipts.
  • What's not included, written down before you sign.
  • Everything made during the engagement is yours.

A short form first, then we find a time. If it isn't a fit, I'll tell you.

Tell me what you're
trying to build.
